A new 2 story addition with spacious kitchen, master suite, and sun porch.
The clients purchased this two story colonial home, it had a funky small(!) kitchen and separate rooms that didn’t allow for easy family living. A new 2 story addition provided ample room for a large bright, open eat-in kitchen. Their growing family needed a play space that wasn’t taking up the entire living room. Enclosing the sun porch made it usable space year round. The project entirely changed the feel of the first floor, opening up the interior walls between the living room, new kitchen and sun room. A new side entry allows easy access to a mud room area and the kitchen, and a sweet home office looking over the backyard is tucked into the rear of the garage.  The second floor of the addition provided space for a new laundry room and a new spacious master suite with lots of usable closet space and a beautiful contemporary bathroom.
